MGMT. I discovered this band while listening to NPR's All Songs Considered: The Best CDs of 2008 (So Far) podcast. They have a great new wave 80s synth-pop sound, but with a current edge. I haven't listened to the entire album, but downloaded Time to Pretend from iTunes and listened to other singles on Rhapsody. Electric Feel seems to be a big hit at the moment, but I'm really digging Time to Pretend. I haven't been able to get the song out of my head since the first time I listened to it.
