25 things I love about my husband

This is going to be long...

1. His sense of humor. He's incredibly witty and always makes me laugh. We laugh a lot together. Also, we tend to find the same things funny. Who else would watch countless hours of Seinfeld, FotC, Arrested Development and The Office with me?
2. He's silly. Really silly. He's not afraid to show it, though, and I think that's awesome. He's teaching our daughter to be silly, too. He'll do just about anything for a laugh from her (or me).
3. His intelligence. It overwhelms me sometimes, but I'm so completely proud of him.
4. His eyes. He has the most beautiful, deep set, blue eyes. They're incredibly sexy.
5. His parenting. He's so sweet and loving towards Ella. Also, he has all these plans, hopes and dreams for her. He does so much to try to help her learn and be a good person. He's really invested in her future. He's such a wonderful father.
6. He's supportive. He encourages me in anything I want to do and never lets me believe I'm not capable of something.
7. He's trustworthy. I feel completely safe with him and trust him completely.
   
8. He's respectful of others. He would never do anything to disrespect me or our marriage. He's considerate of everyone's feelings. He would never say anything disparaging about another person.
9. He's very affectionate. He loves to hug, cuddle, hold hands, etc. He doesn't shy away from public displays of affection. He tells me he loves me every day.
   
10. He's open minded. He listens to all sides of a story and doesn't pass judgment. He believes all people are created equal and deserve equal treatment.
11. His commitment to us and our marriage. It's unwavering.
    
12. His interest in music. It's what attracted us to each other in the first place. We don't always like the same things, but I love that we're both so interested in music and can talk about it and discover new artists together.
13. He's just so darn likable! Everyone loves him, he has such a great personality. I never have to worry about him making friends. He gets along with everyone and is a great conversationalist.
    
14. He's sexy. The way he moves, the way his eyes crinkle when he smiles, his great laugh, his kisses - they're all sexy.
15. He's very forgiving. I'm not the easiest person to live with and I know this, but he tolerates it well and always forgives me.
    
16. His humility. He doesn't boast or brag, even when he has the right to be boastful.
    
17. Our inside jokes. This is probably more about us than him directly, but I love all our inside jokes. I love that I can pull out an obscure Seinfeld reference (for example) and he always gets it.
18. He's my bug killer. I have an irrational fear of palmetto bugs and he knows it. He doesn't pick on me about it at all. If he's afraid of the bugs, he never shows it. He even wakes up in the middle of the night and searches the room for them when I swear I can hear one moving around.
    
19. He loves our dog as much as I do. He walks her twice a day and never complains (even though he thinks she's a girly dog). He lets her sleep in the bed with us, even if she takes his place next to me. He spoils her in the manner with which I believe she deserves to be spoiled.
20. He loves animals. This could go with #19, but it's easy to love your own pet. He loves all animals, not just our own.
    
21. He doesn't fight dirty. When we have a problem, we're able to talk it out rationally. No yelling, screaming, dirty name calling, etc. It used to infuriate me that he didn't get mad, but now I really appreciate it.
22. His quirks. He can wiggle his ears. He has a dot on the tip of his nose. He sneezes so loudly that it startles the people around us. He hates coconut. He gets extra grabby when he's drinking. His teeth are perfectly straight. He has a cleft chin. He loves to make obscure tv/music references just to see if someone gets it. He has to read the editorial page in the newspaper every day. He likes to watch C-SPAN. He falls asleep listening to his iPod. I could go on and on...
23. He's not a gamer. I always hear stories about World of Warcraft widows - wives who have husbands that spend days upon days playing online video games. I'm so grateful that he's not into those things.
24. He's chivalrous. He honorable and virtuous. He's my protector.
25. He loves me unconditionally. It's the best feeling in the world.
